CBV OFFICE Services


Also available from the CBV Business Centre at Acorn House are services for clients who do not need a permanent base, but who need a business address and other office services.


For a low monthly fee the following can be provided for eligible businesses:

Business Address
By using Acorn House as your Business Address, your mail may be held here for you to collect. Our office is open from 8:00am to 7:45pm (Mon -Fri) and 9:00am to 4:00pm (Sat) Alternatively your mail may be forwarded to you by first class post either daily or weekly, as required.

Please note:

1. While our address and/or telephone number may be used on your normal business stationery specific agreement must be reached before either can be used for advertisements of any kind.

2. We cannot provide services to any business whose name included the word 'Acorn' or any other word or phrase which might suggest that it is associated with CBV, or for businesses whose activities might conflict with those of CBV.

3. Any business using any of the above services must be legitimate and registered with the appropriate authorities.

4. OUR ADDRESS MAY NOT BE USED AS THE REGISTERED ADDRESS OF A LIMITED COMPANY.

Telephone Answering
Our switchboard is answered 'Acorn House' and our receptionist will take messages for you. You may telephone or call in for your messages, or we will forward them to you daily by first class post.

Payment for the above services should be made monthly in advance by standing order. Any additional charges (e.g. excess postage) will be invoiced at the end of the month in which they arise. Terms are payment within seven days and late payment may result in the cessation of service.

Facsimile Facilities
We can receive and transmit your facsimile worldwide.

Messages for transmission should be handed in at reception with details of the number to which they are to be sent. You will be advised by telephone of incoming messages, which can be collected from reception or forwarded to you, as required.
   
Copying Facilities
A3 and A4 copies, single/double sided, enlarging/reducing, collation.
   
Conference Room Hire

The conference room seats 16 people and has available a 50" plasma screen to facilitate Power-Point presentations. DVD/video players and overhead projection facilities are also available. It also benefits from air conditioning.

Terms and Conditions (Office Services)

1. Services will be provided by CBV (Business Centre) Ltd (hereinafter called CBV) to the person(s) or company named on the application form (hereinafter called the Subscriber). Services will be provided in respect of one named business per application.

2. The duty owed by CBV to the Subscriber shall consist of such of the following services as specified on the application form

(i) the receiving from the Post Office or other carrier of letters and packages addressed to the Subscriber and arranging either for the collection of these by the Subscriber from CBV's offices during normal office hours or for the posting of the same to the Subscriber at the address given on the Application Form (or such other address as may be advised to CBV by the Subscriber in writing) as requested by the Subscriber. Please note: we can only forward items within the size/weight limits of the Royal Mail Letter Service. Large items must be collected. (Please see also para 3 below);

(ii) the taking of telephone messages for the Subscriber and arranging either for their collection by the subscriber from CBV's offices during normal office hours, or for their transmission to the subscriber by telephone or by post to the address given on the Application Form (or such other address as may be advised to CBV by the Subscriber in writing) as requested by the Subscriber;

(iii) the transmission of outgoing facsimile messages supplied by the Subscriber and the receiving of incoming messages intended for the Subscriber and arranging for the collection of incoming messages by the Subscriber from CBV's offices during normal office hours or for the posting of the same to the Subscriber at the address given on the Application Form (or such other address as may be advised to CBV by the Subscriber in writing) as requested by the Subscriber;

(iv) the provision of such supplementary services as may from time to time be available during normal office hours.

3. Letters and packages referred to in 2(i) shall not exceed 5 kilograms in weight or 1000 millimetres in overall size (ie the sum of all three dimensions). CBV shall be entitled to refuse to accept any items exceeding these limits. In the event of any such item being delivered to CBV's offices, shall bear no responsibility therefore to either the sender or the Subscriber and in the event of the Subscriber failing to remove the same within one month of receiving notice thereof (for which purpose a letter addressed to the Subscriber at the last address notified to CBV shall be deemed sufficient) CBV shall have absolute right to dispose of same by whatever means it wishes and to recover the costs incurred from the Subscriber.

4. CBV shall not accept items sent by registered mail or recorded delivery or sign for items delivered by other carriers unless prior arrangements are made.

5. The onward transmission of telephone messages referred to in 2(ii) shall only be by means of a telephone call originated by the Subscriber or their nominated representative as specified on the application form.

6. Subscribers shall be required to quote their names and any other agreed identification before mail or messages can be collected and shall accept that this forms sufficient authority for CBV to deliver the same.

7. CBV's address shall not be used as the registered address of a Limited Company.

8. CBV will not knowingly accept cash on behalf of Subscribers.

9. The service may be terminated with one months notice from either party.
