Here are CBV we've helped a number of small companies over the years. Here is a sample of some of the positive feedback and kind words we've received from some of our clients.
CBV offer the best possible support for any small business. Their subsidised rent / facilities enable companies to grow without the huge overheads and the team are on hand to offer advice on any business concerns.
In an uncertain world, they give you the confidence in your own abilities of running a business and they work hard to ensure tenants are looked after and the facilities are constantly refreshed / updated.
As a 'Not for Profit' organisation I truly believe they add significant value to the Borough and to it’s people.

Many thanks for the excellent course last week. I have since read your support notes and realise that, despite getting professional help re writing CVs etc when I left Sainsbury's, I have been going about things the wrong way!!
I now plan to target my audience in the ways that you outlined, and would welcome testing them out on you shortly - before I start approaching potential clients.
Thanks again.
Brian
Just wanted to thank you all for a great "New Business" course last week. It was very thorough, Norman and John were great tutors, and I had lots of fun!
I'd also like to thank Winston for his welcoming smile and Julie for the tea (and especially the chocolate biscuits on Friday!).
I'm still not sure if running my own business is what I want to do, but at least I now have all the tools and information I need to make a good and informed decision.
I have already recommended your course to one friend and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else thinking of starting a business.
Many thanks once again.

Dear all staff at CBV,
Having attended one of your courses (July 17th - 19th), I am writing to express how delighted I am with the service you provide. The presentations by John and Norman were both concise and informative, and I feel that the course has given me a useful and realistic insight into the requirements for starting a successful business.
Keep up the good work!
Kind regards,
Raymond Downer
Dear Course Tutors/John & Norman
May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you both for the excellent business course. It was extremely useful and I have gained a great deal of knowledge. Please also forward my thanks to David (reception) for his kindness and very friendly manner.
Just an update....................
I went to view my florist shop yesterday and it has plenty of potential, which is very exciting It is in Upper Beeding West Sussex, and I can see myself making a huge success. Sadly I cannot do a great deal, as I am on holiday now, but I have informed the owner that upon my return I will invest in a full market appraisal. I feel this will be most useful for me. It is small and something that I will feel comfortable with as an initial start up venture. I will obviously be spending a great deal of time liasing with CBV, to ensure that I have covered everything. If my florist doesn't develop, then at least I have my other options. Plenty of planning to do first for all of them.
With this, I wish you all a pleasant Easter.
Regards,
Elaine Karmasyn
Hi Norman,
As i only saw you briefly earlier and not too sure if I will be seeing you tomorrow, I would just like to thank you. Firstly, for yesterday's part of CBV's business start up course. Secondly, for setting up CBV in the first place as not only is it a wonderful venture with a good cause, but also a heaven send for a young serious business minded person such as myself!!
I hope that I will be able to maintain a positive business link for the future with you and CBV for the benefit of both our companies!!
Kind Regards,
Ralph Brathwaite
Hi Norman,
Firstly, thank you very much for running the Preparing for Work workshop for our Year 12 students. We’re really grateful that you were able to spare the time to help the students.
Secondly, Caroline Hinkes is going to run the follow-up (helping them actually create a CV on the computers). Is there anything you can let her have that would help her make sure she is consistent with what you trained them? If so, would you mind e-mailing her?
Thanks again.
Regards,
Melanie
Hello David,
Just a quick note as I'm at work and will write a bigger e-mail over the weekend - but just wanted to THANK YOU for all the wonderful notes you have sent me. The course last week was just the BEST!! I'm all motivated - but will need some advice about the pros and cons of basing the business in Cyprus or here and the implications that basing in Cyprus would have on insurance etc - Is there any agency you know of who might be able to advise me?
Thank you all so much - I've been singing your praises countrywide!!
Caroline Grossmith, Director
Dear Norman,
Thank you so much for yet again delivering an excellent presentation on Self Employment. The feedback I have received from students has again expressed their genuine delight and appreciation for such an informative, honest and relevant presentation.
As you are aware, for many of our Art & Design students this is an essential option to look at as part of their professional practice studies module of their curriculum and in light of the opportunities for new businesses in the creative industries this seminar provides a realistic insight.
Thank you also for arranging for Garry Gladden from Fathom Designs to attend which again students commented on how beneficial it was to hear from someone who has created and developed their own business.
I have distributed the contact forms to tutors to give to students and will collate them and forward them to you on my return from holiday.
Finally, thank you for my delightful gift, which is keeping my hefty pile of paperwork in place!
I look forward to seeing you again next year.
Many thanks,
Elaine Wiltshire
Norman,
Just a quick e mail to say thanks so much for the course last week; in my time in John Whittington's team at Croydon I was always well aware of the business start up course's reputation and recommended CBV when the opportunity arose to potential entrepreneurs - but there is nothing like doing it yourself !
For me, the boot's on the other foot now and having cut loose from the Council; I know enough to sort my 'toolkit' out before I start out in business and take avantage of the expert advice and knowledge that's out there from previous colleagues and LBC partners.
The course was very impressive and comprehensive but hit the right tone - serious and fun. You also clearly have a passion for it, so keep up the good work - I've already recommeded it to two other people.
Regards,
Helen Mason
